When I joined RTZ Pillar in 1986 straight out of Business School Gordon was CEO and I have extremely fond memories of him as an excellent, supportive and engaging boss and also because he used to sweep around the office at the end of the day (not late in those days) and drag us all down to the Golden Lion for a pint or too before heading from home. He was a wonderful role model and I thank him for all the support that he gave me. Allan Stamper
